St Annes winery

Three Generations of Winemaking Refined in One Bottle

Located 5 minutes south of Bendigo on the Calder Hwy, at the foothills of Mount Alexander sits St. Anne’s Winery Bendigo.  The most recent addition to the St. Anne’s locations, our winery and cellar door at Big Hill lets us expand our repertoire of fine wines even further due to the ironstone rich soils of the Bendigo wine region.

The estate also offers a number of picturesque  event spaces for your next gathering – from an indoor, outdoor or garden setting, to our sprawling shed complete with granite floors and rustic chandeliers.

Mandurang Valley Wines

In the heart of Central Victoria

Mandurang Valley Wines is in the heart of Central Victoria, only a few kilometres from the geographical centre of the state.

The winery is situated 9 kilometres South East of Bendigo and is established in historic vineyard country. This area was a foundation viticulture and winemaking region in Australia in the late 1800s, but the region was decimated by the Phylloxera outbreak in 1893.

Rivergate Wines

Serious Shiraz – Wines of Substance!!

Rivergate Wines is a single variety vineyard, growing and producing quality Shiraz wines. It is located five minutes north of the Axedale township, midway between Bendigo and Heathcote. The grey-brown sandy loam over red clay soils provide an ideal base for growing Shiraz grapes. The climate allows for the full development of concentrated fruit flavours.

Geoff and Ann Kerr own and operate this small vineyard and winery. Their aim is simply to create the best Shiraz wines – Serious Shiraz – Wines of Substance!! The grapes are grown on hand-tended, low yielding vines and are hand picked at their peak by family and friends. Production is limited to less than 700 cases per year to ensure ultimate quality. The wine is matured in new and old American and French oak barriques for 12 months at Rivergate cellars. When conditions permit a small amount of Reserve is made, which has an extra year of special oak treatment.
